Explain it simply. See what you really understand.
After a Learning session you explain the topic in your own words. You get a clarity score, what’s missing, what’s off, and questions for your reviews.
Topic: Photosynthesis
Plants make their own food. Their leaves catch sunlight, take water from the roots and air through tiny holes, and turn it into sugar. The leftover is oxygen, which we breathe.
- Missing: the gas from the air is carbon dioxide.
- Unclear: the sunlight provides energy; it isn’t turned into sugar itself.
Review questions
- Which gas do plants take from the air to make sugar?
- True or false: plants release oxygen as a by-product.
- Plants use the energy of ____ to make sugar.
