The service

FocusKept provides a focus timer, task planning, learning tools, AI-generated feedback and questions, and spaced-repetition reviews. Some features require an account; some require a paid plan.

Your account

Keep your login details safe and tell us if you suspect misuse. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must provide a valid email address.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the service: no attempts to break or overload it, no automated scraping, no illegal content, and no use of the AI features to create harmful material. We may suspend accounts that do.

AI features

AI feedback, questions and grading are generated automatically and can be wrong or incomplete. They support your learning but are not professional advice. Check important information against reliable sources.

Free and Pro plans include AI usage limits, described on the pricing page. We may temporarily limit AI features to keep the service reliable.

Your content

What you write in FocusKept stays yours. You give us permission to store, process and display it, and to send it to our service providers (including OpenAI for AI features), only as needed to run the service for you.

Plans, payment and cancellation

Pro is sold as a monthly or yearly subscription through Polar, our merchant of record. Prices are shown before you pay; taxes may apply. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.

You can cancel anytime in Billing; Pro stays active until the end of the paid period. Refunds follow Polar’s policy and the law in your country.

If your plan ends, your existing cards and reviews keep working; Free plan limits apply to new content.

Availability and changes

We work to keep FocusKept available but can’t guarantee it will always be uninterrupted. We may change or discontinue features; if we make a change that significantly affects paid features, we’ll tell you in advance.

Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or end accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

Liability

FocusKept is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages or lost data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
